School Meals

All of our school meals are prepared from fresh ingredients and cooked daily in our on-site kitchen. The menu has been specifically designed to comply with the current Government School Food Standards, to ensure children have a healthy, balanced meal.

Food allergies

Langmoor Primary School is a nut-free school. We do not use products that contain nuts in our school dinners, and ask parents not to send nut products into school.

Children with food allergies or a medical diet will require a custom menu if they wish to have school dinners. For more information about medical diets and how to apply for a menu, please visit:

Free School Meals

Children in the reception class (EYFS), Year 1, and Year 2, receive free school meals as part of the Universal Infant Free government scheme. From Year 3 to Year 6, our school meals cost £2.55 per day.

Families in receipt of benefits may be eligible for free school meals until the end of the schooling phase (primary or secondary). For more information on who can get free school meals & how to apply, please visit:

Booking Meals

Parents can book school dinners on our parent app, MyChildAtSchool (MCAS). This gives families the option to choose their child's food, so they know they are getting the food they enjoy.
